Fresh on the block with theBalm NZ & a GIVEAWAY!!

The Balm is back at it again with these quirky and fun products, which are sure to brighten your Autumn. The first time I used The Balm was about 3 years ago and my gosh, this brand has just grown from strength to strength. Now stocked at Life Pharmacies and Unichems around New Zealand, it’s hard not to notice their super retro stands as soon as you walk into their stores. I recently was gifted 3 of the NEW the Balm products to have a play with, so I thought why not share my thoughts right!?

First up is TheBalm Appetit Eyeshadow Palette $89.99 – This palette is so cute I literally didn’t want to even swatch the shades within it. When you first open it up there’s a stencil like covering which says EAT UR <3 OUT, I had a giggle because who wouldn’t love the play on words, this brand does sass and quirkiness so well!! The Appetit palette holds 9 super pigmented shades (4 of which are Matte), and comes in a great compact size, which means it’s perfect for popping in your bag anywhere you go- winning!!  I love the fact that all of the shades in this palette are all super wearable, plus they can be used wet or dry now how’s that for multi use.

Oh yeah the most important part, this hot little number is Limited Edition! so get in quick and pick one up for the other Makeup Lover’s in your life while your at it!

Now it’s time to get a little cheeky with theBalm How ‘Bout Them Apples? Cheek and Lip Cream Palette $89.99 – If your a Makeup Artist then you will appreciate this palette a lot, not only for the 6 stunning shades that feature shirtless men next to them (great marketing, but where’s Channing Tatum?!) but because these are cream based and can be used on both the cheeks and lips. I normally use to stray from using too many cream products, on myself and on my clients but theBalm have created these hues with a unique velvety finish that won’t fade or streak.

Tip: When it comes to cream products, I find the best way is to apply them is with your fingers. It makes blending a breeze, plus gives you total control as the more product you add, the more colour you will see.

What kind of person would I be if I didn’t save the best product till last…. theBalm Time Balm Foundation where have you been all my life!!? Obviously in America because it’s only fresh on the streets here in NZ Duhhhh Stacey! So if your anything like me, then you love yourself a good coverage when it come’s to foundation, let’s be honest it’s all about that base and looking flawless am I right?

Time Balm comes in 8 great shades, I’m Light/Medium at the moment, but as the weather gets cooler I will probably need to drop down a shade sadly (queue sad music). I have now worn this foundation twice, it doesn’t seem to oxidize and the coverage is really impressive, especially when applied with a beauty blender. So what makes it different to the millions of other foundations on the market? Well it’s a Beeswax-based foundation packed with some hardcore science to help fight wrinkles, conceal circles and look absolutely stunning around the clock. TimeBalm foundation is also Paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and perfect for all skin types.

So there you have it, three pretty rad products that will have you looking from drab to fab, if your not quite convinced you can check out my Instagram and Facebook over the next few days as I will be sharing a few swatches and looks with you all using the above.

If you really don’t need to look any further, because let’s be honest these products are bomb AF then you can get your shop online HERE or….
