Terms and Conditions

Please read the below details before booking, by paying your Non refundable & Non Transferrable booking fee for any of our services you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS these apply for booking with Stacey and her artists

​

To secure a booking with Stacey Banfield or her team a NON REFUNDABLE & Non Transferrable BOOKING FEE must be paid by the due date for any service offered. All invoices must be paid  by their due date to guarantee your booking,  for further details regarding cancellations please read below,

 

Bridal Bookings - 

 

A minimum of 5 people per bridal booking is required, although we will consider smaller bookings depending on the date if timings allow for us to fit you in around other bookings. ( eg first looks, late ceremony etc)

The non refundable booking fee payment is a portion from your total bill required to secure the booking, the remaining balance will be invoiced the week of your booking and is due BEFORE your wedding day - this cannot be paid prior to when the invoice is issued, this applies to all booking types . If payment hasn't been made by the invoice due date, Stacey or her Team will not arrive for the job. This fee partially secures not only the time required for the job, but the administration between the client and Stacey Banfield for said booking.

Please note many peak summer dates are getting booked out 12months in advanced, please ensure you get in touch swiftly to secure your spot

Cancellations and Postponements 

​

- For all Bookings, If you are unwell, change your mind and cannot attend your booking for any reason,  or there is a date change you agree to forfeit your booking fee for that original date, all booking fees paid for all services are non refundable and non transferrable . If the notice you give of cancellation is less than 72hrs for any standard special occasion bookings or lessons you will be required to pay the full remaining amount for your booking with no exceptions - , however out of good will if we can fill the spot we will do our very best to do so.  If you are to rebook you will be required to pay another Booking Fee to secure your new time slot. Exceptions to this are outlined in my covid-19 policy.

Please note - we reserve the right to refuse to work on any clients who appear to be physically unwell particularly with stomach bugs or anything contagious. Should we then become unwell after working on sick clients this can impact our workload for the following days significantly and have a flow on effect which then impacts other clients. Please note we also cannot work on anyone with the likes of conjunctivitis, styes or cold sores due to their infectious nature these then contaminate our kits and require us to throw out anything used on that client.

For large bookings such as bridal bookings, any cancellations 4-6 months out will require a 50% cancellation fee and this will be invoiced to you, with payment required within the invoice timeframe. 

​

Cancellations of any kind within 3 months for larger bookings inclusive of Bridal bookings will require full payment.  Stacey and her team accept all bookings based on their first agreed requirements and turn away many other clients also wanting those same time slots and dates, especially in peak months. Short notice cancellations impact their income hugely.

Full payment must be received by the date on the final invoice for us to arrive on the day for your service, if payment hasn't been paid by this date Stacey Banfield Makeup Artist otherwise reserves the right to take any legal action required at any time for non payment.

Changes to a booking

​

Requests to increase total numbers requiring makeup, for the confirmed date after the booking fee has been paid will be accommodated where possible and may require the onboarding of an assisting artist.  Onboarding another artist will incur a fee.

Additional Fees

​

If you require your booking to begin before 6:45am - or start later than 4:30pm there may be an after hours fee charged at Stacey's discretion. This also applies to Travel Fee start times. Public Holidays also incur a surcharge 

​

Accommodation + Travel Fees 

​

For out of town bookings a minimum fee of 1 night stay is required at the cost of $250 depending on the location. This allows Stacey to arrive the night before the booking, so she is safely there and ready to start the next morning.  Stacey or team member will pay anything above this at her discretion.

 

The travel fee for bookings outside of central Christchurch is charged at the rate of $1.50 per km return trip with a min charge $25 - this is to cover mileage and there is also an hourly fee to cover the time spent travelling that cannot be used to be with other clients. Flights can also be arranged if the location permits by Stacey. A rental car will then also be required and an hourly fee for the travel time.

On the day of your booking

​

Due to the nature of our work, timing is critical and must be adhered to. All clients must be on time to their appointment and if you are running late please let us know before you are late . This is so we can let you know if your booking can still go ahead due to other bookings that may be after yours. You will still be required to pay for your booking if it can't go ahead due to lateness.

Wedding bookings on the day - Please ensure all clients are showered with clean skin prior to our arrival of the agreed start time. Any unreasonable delays to start times may impact the ability for us to complete the full booking

 

Covid-19 Policy

This is subject to change based on the rules or mandates outlined by the New Zealand Government and what is required by law for businesses to operate.

If Stacey Banfield Makeup Artist is able to operate safely within the guidelines of New Zealand Government traffic light or alert level system  bookings may proceed and will be expected to do so. NZ Border/ Quarantine restrictions/ Gathering limit restrictions do not permit Stacey or her artists from being able to operate, so therefore bookings will be expected to proceed. Your booking and any monies paid towards it are non-refundable and non transferrable, if you wish to cancel or postpone, the standard cancellation policy shall apply for that date/booking with no exceptions.

In the event that your wedding or event cannot go ahead due to a level change ie - level 3 or 4 where Stacey and her artists aren't legally able to operate or travel to your location. Your booking fee will then be held in credit for 12months and can be used towards any service but only for the original client. New season pricing may apply. The credit also applies if you choose a new date due to restrictions but Stacey is unavailable for that new date. 

In the event that the client or the artist falls ill last minute with Covid-19 full payment is still required for the booking and will be held in credit for 12months to ensure it is fair for both parties.

This ensures income for Stacey and her staff booked for the required dates where other bookings turned away may have been able to proceed. Stacey has a back up plan in place for another artist to cover in the event should she ever fall ill so you are never left in the lurch.
